Yea I miss the z but the frs is fun around the curves I got a few plains down the road nothing special basic bolt ons from Trd so I won't void the warranty. Did you have the little rattling noise on yours? I've heard it's from the fuel pump not the one in the gas tank but under the hood from research I've done

My Z was almost a science project when it got totaled. (Well prepped STU car) It had a lot of NVH, so it could have had that noise and I may not have noticed.

Before I prepped for STU I had a leightweight flywheel that sounded like rocks in a barrell at idle.

My FRS has the "crickets" sometimes, but it doesn't bother me.

In the frs. My z was pretty
Much stock with the exception of a few bolt ons the basic intake exhaust headers I had planned on doing more when I paid it off was about a year away from paying it off and got in a wrecked it. My crickets or rattling comes and goes mainly when it's warmed up

Hello everyone!

I just finalized the purchase of a new FR-S RS 2.0 over the weekend. Been lurking the forums for a free weeks leading up to the purchase. I'm coming over from a MINI Cooper S, and haven't driven an RWD since the V8 station wagon I had back in high school. I'm assuming the 86 will be a little more controlled (unless I want it not to be... &#128514

Still in my 1k miles break in but still able to have some fun on corners and curves...Added cold air 2 weeks ago now looking add more performance but don't want to void warranty or get in trouble with Cal stupid emissions lol

Got a hold of my 2013 about three months ago. Did the low tail/brake light, tails as turn and reverse light mods last weekend. Dreaming of E85 and a blower some day. (Just don't tell the wife)

I am with you buddy. Wife keep asking me what i am up and why I keep watching videos of FRS upgrades.

Same here! Wife thinks I'm crazy for sinking all the money in this car. Been watching tons of videos. I do have to say she questions it all BUT then she begs to take it racing... No one can escape. It's just fun to drive.

Wassap guys. Just got a 2014 FR-S manual in hot lava. I have been around the FRS since they came out but this is the first one I have bought.

This is by no means my first performance car and I love everything about cars. Just feels good to back into a manual in the first place.

Just going to do some basic mods and bolt-ons for a while, we will see how it goes. This is the daily right now so its got to be reliable. For now its just getting whatever info I can from the community and having fun with the car. Thanks guys
