I would love to but I don't see a location to hook my fuel pressure gauge to.

I was talking to delicious tuning and full blown via email to build an e85 return style system but now my car got word of replacing the current system and it decided to kill itself?

This really sux because I just purchased a jeep wrangler for a daily and I don't want 2 project cars atm. Ideally I wanted to finish the jeep and then upgrade the brz more.

I'm really like two seconds from throwing my wallet at full blown for the Walbro 485 kit

What tune you running? Custom shop tune or an off shelf for the kit stand alone?

Full Blown tune, Its been awesome for over a year. All of a sudden the cars gone to complete shit. No balls, A/F is all over the place, 5 crank start. After work tomorrow i'm going to pull the pump and inspect. If I have to and I don't see anything wrong with the Fullblown pump that came with the kit, i'm going to drop the factory pump in the car and give it a shot. If the factory pump fires up right away i'll know.

When the car try's to start, if i give it a little throttle I can get it to turn on faster.

That's the direct injectors only, 580-600 PSI idle

There is no reading from ecutek, as there is no fuel pressure sensor built into the fueling system. You would need to attach a pressure gauge in series before the rail, and if its long enough it might able to sit on the windshield so u can monitor it while the hood its down. You should check the pressure while its in idle and during WOT.

I broke down and purchased a Walbro 485 kit from Fullblown last night. Well see how it go's, kinda wanted it anyways.

All the fingers are pointing at pump. I was thinking if it was an injector the car should start easier but sound like shit with a missfire sounding idle, like it's running on 3 cylinders. The car sounds normal just doesnt start up right away and has a/f bouncing trick.

I'll update everyone when it's installed.

This is incorrect. I read fuel pressure all day on my head unit using idatalink tapped into the obd2 harness. The only reading I know of not coming up is the oil pressure. I don't believe Ecu tec will read oil pressure but I know it will read fuel pressure.

Can you read both high, (direct) and low, (port) pressure fuel systems? Usually it's only the high pressure system that is readable.

There is no rail fuel pressure sensor on the car. The only fuel pressure sensor is for the HPFP.

^^^^^ I think you would need an aftermarket fuel pressure gauge between the rails and the regulator. Correct me if im wrong.

Yes, you would need an aftermarket gauge, you're correct.

that would be a 0-100 gauge where as the HPFP reading that can be pulled off the OBD2 which is like a 500 to 2k plus reading

Sorry I've been busy at work. I should have the pump today or tomorrow. I've been using the torque app to monitor the direct injection pressure. When I get a complete return systle fuel system with a FPR I will install a fuel pressure sensor and gauge.

The factory fuel rails and system makes it to gimmicky to install a fuel pressure sensor.
