For the catted FT86SF header, would you recommend that I use your stage 1 AVCS or stage 2 AVCS tables?

@Wayno @steve99 , do you maybe know what "Idle Speed H & I" are supposed to do on your (wayno) definitions from v107.2?
On the OFT 2.x defs "Idle Speed H & I" are not available. Short: I found the right tune for now. My "Idle Speed A - G" are set to 750rpm. Only "H & I" are set to 700 because i used the oft defs 2.x till now. Should i re-flash it with the idle rpm set to 750 for H & I too? |

Also if you're comparing one def that's missing tables to soothe with the whole set, the names won't be matching as the one with fewer tables likely won't have "A" at the first table address. So better off taking the stock values and raising the minimum to 700.

Why 750? Got some problems on idle w/AC. With 750 now it is stable. Also because of "healthier" oil pressure at idle with 0w20 oil. |

The "Idle Speed Target" tables are completely fine. Only h & i are not showing up on the older definition. On the new definition v107+ it is showing up. Also the stock-rom has normally an idle speed of 650 on MT. Tables A-G -> 650, table H & I -> 700. Your definitions "WW 2015-09-17 OFT Defs": ![]() Your definitions "WW v107.2 2016-07-07": ![]() If i compare my rom with yours (new and old, also OTS) with your old/new defs, there are 0 missing tables when comparing. Also compared it with notepad, the adresses from Idle Speed Target A to G are exact the same. ![]() Edit: nvm. Me stupid. Idle Target Speed H & I are in your old defs, but are "invisible". Just triple-checked it with the storageadress via wordpad in the defs. I just leave it so, driven it over 1500km in Germany, no problems. I think these are for limp mode / safety measurements. Just for info the tables you see using romraider ecuflash or even Ecutek are only the "discovered" tables. their are still heaps of undefined or tables with unknown functions. In this case all the idle tables exist in all the roms, its just that some definitions don't reference them. The oft defs are fairly old and since then people have discovered extra tables and added them to definitions. So as @Wayno said your best keeping things consistent and setting everything to 700 rarther than leaving some at 750, the oft guys did not change them in their roms as the defs at the time did not "see" those extra tables. If you use the better idle stability tables in wayno's roms it helps as well. Once you have those idle stability tables done then you may be able to go back to the stock 650 idle, but check with air-conditioner on to see if its still stable. you will actually be an A01G rom internally on OFT tunes. Their is an A02G rom available but oft guys don't use it, their A02G rom is actually an A01G internally. Im actually using the real A02G and its stable at standard 650rpm idle with a/c running. with the adjusted idle stability tables. |

If i remember correctly the OTS maps (stage 1) are running with 750rpm @ idle. I also tried it with 700rpm with the idle stability fix (AC on etc) but the car shakes sometimes. With 750 everything is now smooth. Where can i see which rom i am using internally? The OTS tunes are based on the latest rom i think (A01C/B01C?). So far with idle @ 750 i had zero problems. Perhaps of higher gas-usage there is nothing wrong with it? |

you need to open rom with hex editor and search for sequence "ZA1J" you will find 3 locations, if all three match rom is unaltered. If the first two are different from 3rd then the real rom type is the 3rd instance. Just from memory they are at locations 8000,1000 and about 11000 hex. |

![]() The first two are A00G, the third is A01G. If i remember correctly this is the one where the di seal fix happened. Thought the tunes are based on B01C/A01C or so. |

Yes you rom is A01G which has DI seal fix. B01C/A01C is americian equlivant rom with some specifics for their market like evaporative control systems which G series rom don't have. |

Wayno, I heard that you've got 100 and 102 ROZ maps since v109.1 - but I couldn't find them. Have you made them available?
