The knee pads are nice for when im driving but its never had to save me from banging my knee upon entry o_o

Pure decoration for me actually. Doubt my knee has ever touched it.
I have kicked the living crap out of the ones on the door climbing in and out at tight parking spots though.

Must be my weird driving position then. I prefer to be a bit closer to the pedals (so that my knees are still bent even at full pedal actuation), that usually makes my left leg tilt and rest on the knee pad.

And yea, same. My passengers are worse with that speaker trim though. Makes me wonder if buying the JPM pads were a waste

Don't be a noob and get into the car butt first then swing the legs in, like with all proper sports cars. No knee banging problems.

I can't even imagine going head first into one of these cars.

And its a beautiful thing, when your GF (or whatever female passenger) has to get in the car this same way

Never had this problem... Sometimes i hit the bottom part of the inside of the door, but thats it.
