the frs/brz is actually pretty LED friendly in the dome light fixture as long as you don't short it. The BCU even provided a PWM on off cycle that helps keep LEDs working right.
I actually have an entire SSR setup on mine with what is effectively underglow for the entire car all run off that circuit.
