No that pic is the pic featuring the trd parts so I'm assuming those camber plates are trd.

Scion has / had a "salad bar" approach to port-installed options that made TRD springs and sways "stock".

I wonder if that will change now that it's officially a "Toyota".

A lot of people thought those refreshes noticeably changed the driving experiences for those cars, and I remember a decent number of owners trading in for the newer models.

Not saying it's common or that I was expecting the same from Toyota/Subaru, but it wouldn't have been completely unprecedented. That said I'm glad I don't feel the urge to trade in for the refresh. I've recently put in money for some track upgrades so I'm sitting pretty for now lol.
S2000s never received a braking upgrade. The brakes on a 2000 AP1 are the same as what's found on a 2008 AP2 CR. Ditto the NSX - no change over model run.

S2000 starting in 2004:
Quote:
BRAKES
• To improve fade resistance and stopping power at and near the limit, the brake pad material has been changed from a non-metallic compound to a new metallic compound. The new pad material (Jurid632) provides greater frictional stability in high-temperature operating ranges.
• Master cylinder ratio has been changed from 6.5 to 6.0, resulting in an increased feel of rigidity and "build-up" quality (Honda's term for more stopping power in the latter stage of brake application under constant application). Honda claims less pedal travel is required than previously.
• The ABS system has been improved through the use of split-regulation yaw-control logic for improved stability on split-μμ surfaces when the ABS is triggered. Furthermore, though more powerful than before, the system (consisting of the CPU and modulator) has been downsized for both precious space and weight savings.

NSX starting in 1997:
Quote:
• Larger front and rear brake rotor diameters and rotor thickness. The bracket and the rotors are the major change
• Front caliper pistons went from 40mm and 36mm to 40mm and 34mm.

Shoot. My '16 Limited has quite a few extras and $29.9k MSRP. $25k out the door.

Is it just me, or does this review read like Troy Queef wrote it (especially the first few paragraphs)?
