Doubt they do, but it's beyond their hands since most likely bought from a wrecker. He will for sure be put on their "black list" or something similar.

They had an issue with that car because they didn't feel the wrap was appropriate for the brand - and they have a point. They were just trying to maintain the prestige of the Ferrari brand to maintain their core customers.

And putting their glorious engine into an economy car isn't in the same vein?

Slightly different in that people won't see a Ferrari with a bright blue cartoon "paint job" driving around town (I know it was a wrap.) It will be under a hood in a drift car that will never see the street.

Not saying they're going to be OK with it, but it's not the same thing.

@MarkR171 I thought the issue was that they changed the ferrari logo on the outside as well as had "purrari" floor mats. There's plenty of wrapped ferraris that get by as long as they aren't messing with the branding.

Maybe. I could be totally wrong as I don't remember any details. Still, this build won't affect badging or branding unless they slap a bunch of Ferrari badges on the car.

It was definitely the Purarri badges and floor mats that Ferrari ordered removed, not the wrap itself. Nissan definitely had the best response to Ferrari too:

That is fricking awesome, and yet such a bastardization of a Ferrari engine.

I would love to see that (but mostly hear it) at a FD event or wherever Tuerk ends up showing off that car!
