What turbo are you running ? 6266 Gen 2 ?
Yes this car was featured in Speedhunters and yes Gen 2 6266

We have over 500 passes N/A on this same transmission dumping the clutch at 7900RPM and now with the turbo setup another 150 passes.
We have 3 spare stock trans sitting in the trailer waiting to go. We thought for sure we would have lost one by now but 35k later its still going strong.
As for a fix, I am working with a company right now that is building a direct bolt in trans swap. I would guess it's still few months out .

I'm not really surprised, all the power shifting I've been doing on mine and so far the only trans issue is it's hard to get into 3/4, but still goes in and holds power/drives. Probably a worn collar, if I get some free time I'll tear into it and see.

Use the Powertrain warranty for a new one.

not ourselves but I know Adrian at Fensport had to swap his stock unit out after a seasons racing at 450Bhp +

thing is on the road, its difficult to keep a high HP monster throttle pinned down long enough so it will take a while to show up on a road car

I'd be interested to know what clutch this monster is on and how it feels around town?

any ideas on upgrades for the stock trans that don't involve swaps? Seems like there are a few ideas going around but no actual upgrades
