Strange Wire on floor?

Hey guys. So today I got in my car to see a wire and connector under my steering wheel on the floor. I'm not sure what it is or what it goes to but I crawled under and looked at the wiring under the dash and nothing looks to be missing or out of place, so I'm not sure. Thanks in advance.

I haven't the foggiest idea about the wire but how come you are taking photos of dubious electronic contraptions in your bathroom??

It almost looks like the harness plug that is hidden up in the headliner for an autodim rear view mirror

Haha I needed some light! The 10 series doesn't come with auto dim mirrors, so not sure what else it is

Are you sure your car has not been wired up with an eavesdropping device - secret video and listening devices..

Out of curiosity can you start the car and put it in neutral or park and try removing the key with the car running?

The ends of the wires don't look frayed like it was pulled apart, looks like they were cut. Anything not work in the car?

Looks like one of the plugs tucked behind the head unit. Have you fooled with your stereo recently?

loose parts sometime make their way into cars during manufacturing or repair so as long as everything works I wouldn't worry.

I am seeing a pattern of unidetified electronics turning up lately though so maybe sombody is tracking us. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...91#post2696291

that does in fact look like the stereo plugs I saw when I fiddled around with the HUD. if you can get a clearer picture of the inside of the connector.

well come to think of it, none of those connectors I saw had foam on them, it was usually the harness that had the foam wrapped around...

the fact that the terminal ends are not even exposed is interesting. did dealer do work on it?

Maybe something from under the seat. Does your seat detect the presence of your butt? It's not an airbag connector. Those are yellow.
