And 70% of them are lowered just to make it more realistic.

We had a machine indicate it was running at 180% of it's possible top capacity today so even electronics fudge the numbers.

The V8 weighed in around 3,000 pounds and the wheel track was much narrower than newer car which gave them a wonky COG. Also remember the rear was leaf springs and shocks. No matter what you do to the suspension you can not expect modern car driving characteristics. You can improve them from what they were yes but they will always be pigs.
