I mean, I've always known buying a finished product would be a lot easier/cheaper than building something. But I've never really seen exactly what I want before. The thought process that spawned all those ideas was "I want something uniquely mine" something built to my specifications. We just have to accept the medium, flaws and all. Honestly, it's not much different in the real world. I spend my days repeating the same instructions over and over to my colleagues while my manager thinks process documentation means shoving saved email threads into network folders. SMH
