squeaky clutch issue
Anyone had Clutch squeaky issue? (mostly throwout bearing issue) which a lot of 86 owner has. It makes sound from last 2 inches when It travel to the bottom.
It this will go away with just some of lub work? This video is after driving about an hour. when car is cold there's no squeaky or crunchy feeling Thanks! Last edited by bhbnuckle; 06-27-2016 at 04:51 PM. |

Oh, my ....... ANOTHER clutch making noise ........
![]() Someone should make a "diagnostic tree" for this aberration. @bhbnuckle ..... in your case, I would suspect: * maybe the return spring could use a shot of lub * maybe a part of the linkage/pedal under the dash needs a lub * maybe the clutch fork is dry humfrz |

Well, if it is the spring, you should be able to douse it with silicone spray and quiet it down. No need to remove it.
OBTW ....... one thread per problem is usually sufficient ...... ![]() humfrz |
