I drove all the way to the next township and bought a small bag of Burt x Guinness potato chips over the weekend to show my support.

Support for Exit or Stay? Guinness is firmly in the European camp.

I would have voted leave if I'm a Brit, who wants to fund the DB bank blow up lol!

I love Burt chips but they only sell this one flavor here that holds together the UK.

Curse both of you for making me look up Cadbury Flakes...

It was bad enough I discovered a few years ago the Cadbury Curly Wurly (which for those of you US folks that don't know its the equivalent of the old Mars Marathon soft caramel/chocolate bar)

If Hershey is really preventing the import of these, they are dead to me!

That's just a picture of him going mental.

Back when I was in high school in the 90's we were taught that Japan was literally f***ed after their stock market crashed, and some say they've been in a technical economic depression since. You are right they don't really import any goods, heavily reliant on exports.

IIRC their debt to GDP level is among the highest in the world, but the majority of their public debt is held within the country.

I also remember when I was a kid in the 80's, I would often see Japanese tourists coming to Hong Kong and they would buy the most lavish stuff, and basically invented wearing clothes with big posh brand logos. My mother even told me back then in Japan, a lot of people could afford to throw out their TVs and buy new ones with their annual year end double pay. They really had alot money then. Not to mention the quality of goods that came out of Japan during that era was nothing short of amazing.

Well... back at ranch (Europe) they are waking up to the fact that they can't live without the UK!! Our stock market is on the rise and more importantly the Cadbury Flakes stock has stabilised.
