I’m sticking with stock height for now. Living in the mountains, I’ve about tore the front bumper off a few times.

My setup: Work Wheels T7R 18x9.5 +38, 245/35/18

The TRD fender extensions drop about ½ inch closing the wheel gap.

Oh man I was looking this exact thing up about the TRD fend extensions and if they close the wheel gap at all. Glad to know they help a little.

How is the install on these if you don't mind me asking?

The installation is pretty easy. You need to remove the wheels and the front extensions screw to existing locations and use a continuous adhesive rubber. The rear work the same way and you need to drill a hole in the rubber bumper (edge, not surface of body) to mount.

I guess it took maybe 1.5 hours total time including jacking car and removing wheels. I went super slow to be sure I got it right. I could do it under an hour now that I know how it works (directions are in Japanese, so really had to study the pictures).

Here's a picture of how much the wheel gap is closed on the front fender where the two part extensions meet. Also, my wheels poked a bit and this "flared" the fender nicely to meet the poke. They say it flares about 7 mm.

Perfect! Thanks for the great info. Now if only the damn price would go down on these. Either way I am not going to bother ordering them until my wheels get here in a couple of months.

I really love the ride quality and handling of the stock suspension. So anything to help close the wheel gap without changing those stock suspension characteristics is worth it to me
