Read through some of the questions... most of them, prob he doesn't know or even he knows, he wouldn't be able to say. Specially Subaru side of stuff. He's more closefriend with Toyota JP, so he knows hellova a lot of new 86 than new BRZ (that's why he was calling new BRZ "kouki" = which is used by Toyota more than Subaru).

I figure they will add at least 1k for the series yellow, but now that I think of it, wasn't the HyperBlue almost exactly the price of a regular limited?

Could you ask if they considered modifying the clutch pedal feel and clutch pedal height for this refresh? That's probably my least favorite part of the current car.

New cars in general have been like this for at least a decade I don't think that will happen.

I don't have a problem as I got used to it, and I wear driving shoes with really thin and flexible soles which help tremendously but of course a slightly more aggressive clutch would be best.

2016 SUBARU SERIES.HYPERBLUE MODELS
Model/Trim - BRZ Series.HyperBlue
Transmission - 6MT

..from last years press release. The question we all want to know is how much will the PP add.

Would generally a refresh warrant a significant spike from the previous years pricing? Like say...$200-300 bump? I know nobody knows pricing at the moment but I want to gauge whether or not I'm expecting too little or too much of a price hike for a refresh and not 2nd gen.

I personally hope they will carry over the same pricing as the 2016s and that the manufacturers don't view this car as an in demand vehicle despite the refresh.

Its a pre production car that is on display. Doesnt actually have the internals of a 2017. The 2017's arent actually out yet and wont be for a couple months or more. The series.yellow is apparently coming next year.

Read the whole thread.

Yep. One of the news releases (the Toyota ones) said they went into production in May.
