The 2017 Series.Yellow....what upgrades?
Above and beyond the upgrades announced for the whole 2017 BRZ lineup, what's the Series.Yellow likely to have that's unique? Will it only get the Performance Package goodies plus the typical appearance upgrades (unique paint, bigger splitter, blacked-out spoiler, rocker panels, more aggressive diffuser, interior trim changes)? Or will there be more meat on the bones?
We'll know on June 12, but as we wait it's always fun to speculate. |

Special edition door stabilizers, blacked out rearview mirror and carbon fiber reinforced bolts!

If subaru brings out the brz ts version just like the one in japan i will be so tempted to trade in my series blue for that one. Hope it does not happen.

Besides charging us for our arms and legs and we'll prolly still get 205 HP with different bits oh and Yellow. That's what I'm expecting lol. We will see. I'm trying to make arrangements to go to CT to see it myself. If it will even show up there.

I'm expecting yellow paint, black badging, black wing, black STI wheels, black STI body kit, Yellow interior trim, and Yellow interior stitching. I hope it comes with something Bruce Lee related...

I'm guessing it's more like the hyper.blue. Just unique color. Track package with yellow paint and yellow interior trim. The shape of the bumpers are different enough that the current STi lip kit won't fit I believe, and I doubt STi will redesign it just for the NA market. I'm guessing the STi short shifter and possibly the strut tower bar will be included but beyond that I don't think anything else would be included. Keep in mind the tS is based on the "older" car and thus would not make sense to bring more over

tS cars are not even done inside the factory assembly line, it's post upgraded by STI after the car is delivered to their workshop from the factory, same goes for TRD. I think this is why they are very limited production and never sold outside of Japan. The Germans most likely assemble their performance models right on the factory floor so they are considered part of their factory line-up for export on their usual distribution channels. I'm not even sure if their so-called tuning arms are really that autonomous. |
