Yeah I'm really not worried. Considering the car made it through some 500,000 miles of testing in all kinds of conditions before it was released means it is a pretty solid car. All news cars face yearly changes, especially after the first year. While annoying it's the nature of the beast. I'm sure 2015 will get a 10hp bump or something, there is always something to wait for.

I'm totally happy with mine, I haven't read about next year's changes yet and quite frankly I don't care. If this car was any more fun to drive it would probably be illegal!
Besides like the other previous posters said there's always going to be changes, that's the nature of the beast. If you feel like you need to wait, then that's fine and works for you. Me, I got no regrets about buying mine and I'm sure I'll be enjoying it for years to come!

All the reviews have been so overly positive that I'm surprised there are any major changes planned. I know the forums have picked up on the "light clutch" and the "torque dip" but none of the reviews I saw mentioned these issues. Bottom line, if you want to feel happy about your 2013 purchase, just go read any review.

Every year models will be enhanced. Why wait till all the hype is gone? Be happy and enjoy your car. Getting some attention in a brand new car is fun.

I enjoy being one of the first on the block, and if this car is a classic in 30 years I'll be able to say I got it within weeks of its release.

If they change stuff it's not going to be all that big of a deal, even if it is something like going from 2008 WRX to the 2009 WRX you'll still enjoy your car the same. The majority of auto manufacturers don't make big changes right out the door because of brand loyalty. Yes, they do refreshers yr. to yr. to get people who wouldn't normally look at the car to look, and they will do other little things like they did with the S2K to enhance american drivability cause heaven forbid you don't have a ton of torque at the bottom end like an American V8.

With TIME. EVERY Vehical in the last 25 years has gotten BiGGER and HEAVIER. Look at the Civic Accord Camary Eclipse Tacoma Tundra BMW Miata STI TL SC
If this follows with the BRZ that means the fun may go too. So waiting equals less fun. ??? |
