Car back in the shop AGAIN... with a P000b code. Luckily still under powertrain. 52k miles on the car now. Getting pretty sketchy, this will be the 5th time the car has been in for "cam" issues. Wonder if they will just replace my engine already.

5 times is more than enough for a lemon law. I think the minimum was three tries.

Depends on the state and the mileage when things happen. I believe WA state if it's after 25k, no dice. All my issues started happening around 30k.

Im at 30k miles and i keep getting it. Im trying to see if I can tune it out the the cam learning because it looks like its just "learning" to the point where it gets worse. If I reflash the ECU, she runs like a dream for days then it will start to learn in traffic and retard the timing till the timing is off. :/

It took 3 different dealers before they flew an engineer out to fix it. Last time i had it was i think around 50ish-K Miles. I'm at 86k now with no issues (knock on wood). Also something to think about if you buy a used engine from a first year twin.

Make sure you keep a record of every visit, always ask for a print out and save it(scan) to email for easy reference. Also look up your state lemon laws to see how many visits it takes before they buy the car back.
