Don't worry I know when to leave the guys that interpret a question and statement as some sort of insult and read 1% of my posts and then judge me behind and ignore them.

Well I guess it certainly would change the muscle car game but not in the direction that muscle car guys want to go.

Haven't heard of one. Was there supposed to be something? Depend on who does it anyway since I have little faith in some of these "interviews".

I predict "Still needs more power" to be prevalent.

Yeah, unfortunately that's a given. Unless the car has a sub 5 second 0-60 and 13 sec 1.4 mile time, magazine racers, and car blog reviewers will be disappointed.

And if it had that then it would be "too much money", "cheap interior", "back seat unusable" or in many cases "it isn't a Mustang"

“Muscle car”??? Oh pahleeese!!!
My first car was a true “Muscle Car”. A 1969 Chevelle SS with a 425 h.p. 427 cu. in. BIG block, M22 rock crusher 4 speed and 12 bolt posi.

You want to experience a real sports car thrill? Plant your butt in a Caterham Super 7 HPC and due a few laps of Mosport.

But neither are great Daily Drivers which the twins can be. So, let’s call the twins what they actually are, “Fun cars” with a capital “F”!

I have a question. TRD offers offset 18 in. rims for the FR-S being 7.5 in. wide in the rear and 7-in. in the front.
According to the release blurb; http://www.subaru.com/2017-brz-series-yellow
Also the special edition comes equipped with 17-in x 7.5-in black aluminum alloy wheels.”
So, I would understand that to mean they are 7.5-in front and rear. Discuss.

Yes it looks they are square setup. I remember a video in Touge comparing different tuner cars. A few of them experimented with a bigger rear tire. The results were not the best. Square setup gives more balance and better drive characteristics.

Subaru/STI always go with 18"x7.5J square using Michelin PSS, Toyota/TRD would go with 18"x7J front and 18"x7.5J rear but unsure what is their tire choice.

Jalopnik totally misses the point on pretty much everything in existence. They've been making fun of Subaru and Toyota because they refuse to make the 86's over weighted blobby pieces of garbage. Their last way was to make the headline the exact line you quoted. If everyone working at jalopnik was fired the world would be a better place.

I am really going to be interested in the dyno numbers and reviews when the new cars come out. The changes could actually make a nice difference to driving feel. If they just eliminated the torque dip and fixed the stock exhaust that would be a gigantic upgrade.
