3 Front lips...2 carbon lips -$1000 and 1 ht auto lip(painted..currently on my car right now cracked) $300 all cracked. Ruined my fender liners $100...2 damaged front end links replaced with whiteline $120...Exhaust is all chewed the F up.. rear diff is also slighty scraped. Pretty sure there is some more things i screwed up as well. Tires $500 are all cut up from scraping on the metal under the fender liner.

Total - $2020(so far) i need to do over my exhaust

Moral - if you want to go that low then get bags or have your pockets ready to back it up

I wanted coils to drop the car about 2", but came across some Swift springs with a 1" drop, and a spare set of complete FRS suspension for a whopping $150 total and I haven't looked back.

A 1" drop is great, and can be had SUPER cheap if you need something to tie you over while you save for bags.

I was saving for a set of ST's but I ended up just liking the 1" drop.

Oh no I understand what he wants! Since he can't afford air, I'm saying there's a step he can take that's intermediate. He can likely get used springs for $100, and sell them when he's saved up enough for air for about $100.

If he wants, it's a step on the way down, and only a temporary expense that's pretty minimal.

**UPDATE** Its been a few days or a week, something like that. Decided to throw the whole stance thing out the window and go for good engine mods and just build up a good N/A build or go FI. Just added revworks headers to the car and have a decatted front pipe on the way. I am saving up for an OFT, we'll see how it goes guys! Thanks to everyone who posted.

Thanks for this post man, I was reading it and I totally agree. I Live in New York upstate and I'm on springs right now because I had to get rid of that wheel gap. Now that I have some cash to spend, I think I will go with ST suspension coilovers. They give almost the identical drop of the springs but slightly lower and better ride quality. Still looks pretty stance too, just not hellaflushed like the bagged guys.
