trans is fine. it is faceplated (basically dogbox) H pattern 5 speed. its rated for 600 continuous ft lbs in stock form from tremec. mine has heat treated gears so they have a tad more give from shock load. we might setup a strain gauge for clutchless shifting at the track seeing how the trans will take it with the control the m150 has over clutchless shifting loads.
Wow makes me want to go motec so bad. Do you know if theirs any other kits made for this car haltek or anything? Also who do you have tuning the car? How much did you guys spend on that trans been looking on which way I should go with trans. And what type of build are you going for with the car drag or track? Also what is it redlining at?

Your standalone options are motec m150 or hydra ems. The hydra ems isn't bad, it's just finding someone who knows how to use it. Nothing else has direct injection support. We deal with aem and haltech pretty close with our shop car. Neither has any interest in working with di yet.

The trans was a lot of trial and error, along with a bunch of custom stuff. Can't really put a price on it

It's a street car, that's built for drag racing. Not really setup for a road course or anything like that. Has everything it came with factory, minus windshield washer bottle

Gotta keep us updated on how that trans is holding up!! Any ideas what it'll run?

ID2000's were installed saturday, just need to finish up the tune when my guy has time

only pull video i took, and it was an early one. we cut around 7k rpm and were only on wastegate spring pressure. around 500ish whp. this was before we started adding in timing as well. around 18 degrees in boost

Hydra EMS is complete shit, done them. Threw it out on one customer's car and put different ECU in that ran way better.

No. It's controlled by a motec ecu, data logger or dash unit

ID2000's are in, continuing tuning on thursday. ecu is mounted in the glove box, and i was playing with the launch limiter a little the other day. already makes a little boost with just the limiter. should do very well with the anti lag timing/fuel settings enabled.

Had a fuel pump issue with the in tank pump. Surge tank ran out of fuel half way through the power pulls so we didn't add any more power. All of the anti lag is set, new injectors are scaled, and rolling launch works but he is still refining it further. Fuel pressure dropped to 20psi at 30psi of boost pressure during the pull, but the afr line stayed solid because it adjusted duty cycle so fast to make up the volume to hit the target. Basically it will save you a motor if shit hits the fan haha. Anti lag makes a targeted 18psi in just over 3 seconds of activation, 5000rpm

went to the track friday night. snapped the drivers inner shaft, as well as passenger outer joint. these are DSS 600hp axles. moving to the 1000hp setup with the larger hubs and running a 26x10x15 slick at the track to soak up some of the shock in attempt to keep this from happening again.
