@corry29 Why not? Haha, I've lease this one because I know I will change it after 3 years anyway ! I pay less, have a new car with some new goodies every 3 years = win. Even after 3 years, my cars look like new with about 30K Km, no winter, with a brand new suspension/exhaust (since I've changed everything after 3 week lol) So it make a damn good used car for the dealer ! I may offer this one at someone at my local FR-S/BRZ community too.

For the radio yeah it's almost bolt on. Connector are the same, the only thing you got to do is to tap the Amp signal with a switched 12V, since the Corolla radio don't give any signals to the AMP wire. My radio is from a 2013 Corolla, 2012 could fit too. Some other Toyota's have this similar headunit but it's kind of rare to find it with the "App" button !

I've lost some features, like the voice command but I don't use it anyway. And the ability to put the language in French since the radio is from US. I've gain an equalizer and it sound really great ! And no more Scion splash screen, booya !

For the floor mat I did it simple, I've removed the FR-S logo on them. It's cleaner that way IMO. They leave small hole, but you wet the fabric and you can replace it correcly.

For the trunk mat, actually from factory it don't have any logo. But I've got lucky and found a Release 1.0 TRD trunk mat + a new spair tire for... 20 bucks. And It's brand new. The red TRD logo fit really well with the car when I pop the trunk

So yeah, It's a really close to perfection conversion ! Next one will be a real 86 tho !

Ah okay! I see I see,

If that's the case, I look forward to the new 86 build too! If anything, make sure that Kakimoto also goes onto the new 86 too!!

Oh, you got lucky on the TRD trunk mat! Really lucky! No one with the RS1.0 wants to part ways with their trunk mat

I'll keep everything don't worry. I may change some details here and here but I keep the suspension, the exhaust and the wheels for sure.

Yeah really for the floor mat! The guy have installed a full fiberglass sub and amp setup... Not my thing but hey, got the floor mat for nothing !

Everyone tell me that haha ! I make a good wash one a year and every time I wash the 86, I wipe off some dust quickly. So dust and shit don't accumulate and it always look great

Thanks man

Nop ! I've got the chance to have an apartment with a garage so the car is mostly stored in the week. But don't think I don't use it ! In the same time I've leased the 86, I've lease a 2015 Corolla (Just got a stupid deal) and even If I use the 86 6 months a year, It still have more KM's than the Corolla

Since I'm the co-founder of Quebec FR-S/BRZ, we make various event around the province (meet, ride, dyno day etc...) This weekend we have a ride so I'll reach the 10 000 KM ! Car will feel old

Litte update,

I've put back the OEM headers with the cat since a police officer suggested me that my exhaust is a tad loud (lol). With the OEM cat, the Kaki is still really loud but my friends told me that is more "acceptable" from the outside.

And this week (I hope) I will change my first axle at 11 XXX KM on warranty. It begin by clicking and I've retorqued it. Now it clunk really loud. Great !

If anyone goes to Formula Drift Canada this weekend, on Saturday my 86 will be in the Scion booth !

It's at the Autodrome St-Eustache in Quebec.

You just need the LED/HID headlights!

That or the new 86! Have you thought of what color you're going to go for if you end up switching to the new 86? Haha!

@corry29 Yeah I know ! But damn the OEM one are expensive

For the new 86, I'll be back to white for sure. Really love the red but I'm really perfectionist... With a red, even If I take extreme care when I wash it (2 buckets with grill, foam gun everytime, top to bottom wash etc etc...) AND even If I got a opticoat on it, I still make some light swirls.

With a white, it always look great ! With the new red tailight, a white 86 with all my present parts will be sooooo sexy !

Really can't wait to see it live and to drive it. If it's possible, I would love to change it next summer. I really hope that Toyota will leave the mono-spec and make the Japan "GT" trim available here. I want the new cluster

Oh and I will change something soon on the red 86, I'll change the K&N air box for the GrimmSpeed one. The K&N make me loose some torque at low RPM situation. I could put back the OEM one but I love the induction noise
