But less reliable? I'd take the reliability of an LSx swap over a boosted, stock internal FA20 every day of the week. |

To get reliability out of the box, it would be much better to just get a Camaro

Camaro with the LE1 suspension package will likely keep up with or beat a GT350 with a track pack and cost thousands less (MSRP; but GT350s are $10-$20 over right now) and have low end torque when not driving it on the track.
I was thinking of getting a 350 but after reading reviews, seeing the power curves, and driving a Camaro, I'm convinced it is the better all around car and easily the equal of the 350. Back on topic: I like the JRSC but would have likely picked the Edlebrock if it had as much track testing by forum members when I pulled the trigger in October (the Edlebrock just became available). The reason: same as why I'd pick the Camaro over the GT350; low end torque

Does anyone have a chart showing oil temps for a stock plus edelbrock...just to give me an idea of where they might max out? If you have ambient at the time, that would help. Alternatively, point me in the right direction
![]() Thanks.

Stock I've seen my temps reach 230 at around 75 ambient going up Mt Hamilton. On the track, I've maxed at 219 at about 80 ambient with a custom oil cooler. |

E85 is not an option for me.
Header is an option if it gives noticeably more torque on 92.

I would love to agree, but i have def experienced roughphy 5mpg loss, and this isn't getting on it every chance i get, its about a 50/50 mix of highway and city and me trying to drive conservatively, still getting about 21mpg which is me driving fairly conservatively. when i first got it i got lower MPG cuz well it was fun testing it out. I'm assuming this is about normal though. are most peoples MPG around 20-22 in 50/50 city/hwy driving conditions |
