I am so glad I washed my car yesterday...even if it was immediately covered in tree pollen.

It's basically a pack hunt. The dogs help chase it and pin it down, (both dogs/boars run faster than most humans). You come in with the knife. Wild boars are nasty and vicious though. Also, the dogs (usually one or two) can't always hold on to them and you end up killing the boar when it's charging you.
Assassin's Creed reference may be overselling it a bit, you aren't typically dropping on it from above. Not for the faint of heart either way.

jk, no vandalism to cars... Meanwhile, my sleep schedule is messed up again due to fun weekend. The people who sat with me said I'm getting really good and learning fast for someone who essentially started auto-x a couple of months ago. I can't believe I never realized this until a national champion (who also drives an FRS) told me that due to our car's lack of low end torque, I have to take advantage of every straight and keep the throttle floored. Miss one and it's over. Basically, got to drive near perfect and as aggressive as possible, to get good times. Still working on the aggressive part... ![]() This car is so damn fun, but makes you work really hard for better times.. My times below haha

Let me get a soapbox rant up in this bitch real quick due to the fact that one of my coworker's customers just emailed our corporate to formally complain about that coworker and me.
A couple months ago this customer ordered some built to order custom parts with a long lead time that my coworker was able to work with the supplier to significantly cut down the lead time as this was a large project. Fast forward to last Friday, the 3rd, when the parts were supposed to be at the customer. Customer calls in and I pick up the phone since my coworker is on the line. Cust: "Can I talk to [Redacted]?" Me: "He's on the line, can I have you hold for him?" Cust: "How about you tell me where the hell my parts are?" I knew the call was going to be pleasant at this point. I know who the customer is so ask him to give me a minute while I get the order pulled up and check the tracking. I check the tracking and see that it is scheduled for delivery today, the 6th. I tell him that it has been picked up by UPS and they will have it delivered on Monday. Customer proceeds to get even more angry. I have had nothing to do with this order so I didn't know the parts were supposed to be delivered on Friday so I'm sure having a pleasant/upbeat tone probably just aggravated him more as I thought we were right on schedule. Cust: "Tell [Redacted] to give me call the instant he is off the line" *Hangs up* Tell coworker what happened and he talks to UPS and finds out they picked up the parts and then sat on them for 2 days before shipping. He calls the customer back, bit of back and forth. This morning the same customer calls in and of course my coworker is out today and tomorrow so I get the call. ( I actually checked the tracking first thing this morning when we got in anticipating this so I knew we were set for delivery today) I tell him the parts are on the truck and scheduled for delivery today. He wants to know the exact time so I tell him i'll talk to UPS and see what I can find out. They tell me the driver will give the customer a call but he has 2 more stops ahead of them so probably early afternoon. Customer gets their parts and issues a formal complaint to our corporate saying that my coworker and I were of no help and they were very angry with how long it took to get their parts. I just don't fucking get it. I get my ass chewed out by a customer who's order I had absolutely nothing to do with and tried to help with the info I had but obviously I can't go out and drive the damn truck myself to deliver parts. I can't even imagine what that customer is like at a restaurant if their food is a couple minutes late..... Currently sitting here deciding how to respond to corporate's email asking what happened with this order since I definitely can't leave it until Wednesday.

Just give them facts and mention the customer called in, was irate, and you provided him an update to the best of your ability, and let it go at that.

Edit out the rant and personal sentiment sections and just copy and paste what you said here. looks like the facts speak for themselves.

I don't think a cat picture will go over well with corporate. They have tried to use some memes in company wide emails in the past and it was kind of an epic fail.... First time using the multi-quote feature as well. That was surprisingly more intuitive than I was expecting

There's a difference between complaining about a customer and responding to a customer's complaint about you. Especially if you have documentation to back your side of the story up. If you don't answer the complaint, your headquarters has no other inputs beyond the one irate customer, so they have to take him at face value.
