Another confirmed fitment of my new wheels for stage 1 and 2
Enkei RS05RR 18x9.5 +43 Also want to add that I ordered PolyMatrix A pads from a local shop... Waiting for my friend with stage 2 to "naturally" wear them down to .65 so I can use them, the info looks very promising on them though!

I've been running the Sport Performance rear for a few months now and had the car on track once.
I get really loud medium (or harder) brake pressure squeal. I assume copper grease between the pad and shims and chamfering the leading edge of the pads is a good idea. |

So performance is 4pot, stage 1 is narrow 6pot, stage 2 is wide 6pot, stage 3 is narrow 6pot but with two piece rotors, stage 4 is wide 6pot but with two piece rotors. 1 and 2 are the same price, 3 and 4 are the same price. There are more color options with 2 and 4 and the pads are bigger, so is the reason some go with the narrow is for max weight or clearance, or cheaper pads. Am I missing something?
Also will red pop too much on D4S or will black just look too murdered out? Pics anyone? |

I can't weigh in on the color, I think that's too much a matter of taste. If my car was black, I'd probably go with red but I think that a well done murdered out car looks awesome too. |

I think the anodized calipers looks cleaner than the laquer finishes so I'll probably just go black, especially if red would be too much color. I even considered silver for the oem look but the anodized black will probably be the choice. Whatcha think?

as for colors, the black anodized looks really nice and I personally think the Wilwood logo looks better than the RR racing logo lol. black anodized is the only way to get the Wilwood logo I believe, and all the other colors have the RR logo

I actually like the RR logo over the Wilwood, but only on the anodized ones. The Corvette "Racing looking font is ehh though. Wilwood font is kinda bubbly and childish. Same with AP Racing logo. Am I crazy? I might go Wilwood. Still have to let it roll around in my mind. Thanks for the opinions guys. |

I don't have the springs and so far, I haven't had any issues with knock back yet. That said, I'm not really a candidate for having issues with it because it would only be noticeable on worn brake pads and I've only tracked on new ones so far. My next trip to the track will be a better indicator but that could be a while away.
Besides this, from what I'm reading, knock back generally only becomes an issue when you are pulling really high g's through corners. It's certainly not something that you'll ever experience on the street and would only happen to you if you're running r-comps or the new high end street tires like re71r, Rival s, etc. If you're going to track your car on good tires, then consider getting the springs but there is no need if you're just going to drive on the street. |

I never had issues with knockback in my Miata, running RComps and Wilwoods at all four corners.
