I guess opens new doors for Rally/ Racing if they manage an Awd platform!!!

Def makes me wonder about new WRX/STi to come out, since it won't be Impreza Based platform anymore !!!!

Darn waiting game...

I really should have known, since I drove an XT last year. That said, 80's turbos left a bit to be desired. Better off with modern NA for power.
See I think the RX is less ugly than the XT. And the interior of the XT.. wow.. that was a 80s nightmare lol

They do offer this car with more power and AWD:

If you put AWD in the BRZ then it fundamentally changes what the car is. It will NO LONGER BE A BRZ. Basically what people are saying is that they don't want a BRZ.

If I take a human and give it scaly skin and the ability to breath under water, it's not quite a human then is it?

I just don't understand the desire people have for this car to be something it isn't while simultaneously wishing it was something that Subaru ALREADY OFFERS.

I wish the BRZ had a hatch and 4 doors too - that'd make it more useful to more people.

I'd like a bit more power to entertain on the straights, but the balance of the car and it's ability to make me smile is plenty of fun for now.

A WRX STI coupe about the same size and weight as the BRZ would be pretty amazing.

The bolded part makes sense. Adding power doesn't fundamentally change what the car is.

Adding AWD does, just like adding a hatch and 4 doors... fundamentally changes what the car is, that was kind of the point.

I love how the article's source is TWITTER.

Twitter's not a reputable source for news. If there were a press release or something, cool.

I personally don't want more power. However, what I do want is for someone to tune out that torque dip.

Also, I'm not certain if everyone would be able to handle this car/push it to it's limits as is without the power. I sure as hell know that I can't yet. Maybe it's just me.

Me neither. Though I think a Turbo is a bad choice. A N/A 250hp or Supercharged 280hp would really rock.
