Help with auto shifter leather boot

Hi guys,

I'm trying to find out if the leather shift boot for the auto BRZ/86 fits another model of car.

Would any of you, who own an auto, be able to take a few quick measurements please?

Just want to know the diameter of the circular surround, and the length of the boot along the stitching (when fully extended).

Thanks in advance!

I should probably mention that I'm happy to pay you for your effort/time, maybe $20 over paypal or something?

Even if you have a manual - it should have the same shift surround diameter, I would appreciate to have the measurements.

Thanks

it depends. are you trying to also cover up the PRND bezel or just trying to change the boot with the bezel still showing

I would suggest you try contacting the guy(s) over at this website, as they make custom shift-boots for several car models, including the BRZ, FR-S - http://www.infocusclothing.com/

I imagine they should be able to provide you with the accurate dimensions, as I believe all of their designs are based off of the OEM template.

Alternatively, you could just purchase one of those shift boots to have for your own reference as some of them aren't much more than what you were offering someone for their assistance in obtaining the measurements.

Some of the manuals have a circular surround. I'm literally just asking someone with a circular surround to put a ruler onto their circular surround and tell me the diameter.... surely it's worth someone's time to get $20 for 10 seconds - 2 mins of effort....

1. They don't have circular surround boots or the auto.
2. Shipping cost to Australia would be another $50-100.

Thanks anyway...
