Interesting. I haven't played the campaign yet but have played some of the Multiplayer with the Hawk Squad (DadHawk, KHawk, CrimsonHawk and JazzHawk). Probably more fun because it was family, but we have enjoyed it.

Multiplayer is definitely not what I consider "Doom" multiplayer. I do prefer the original Doom multiplayer more (no loadouts, everyone is pretty much even, pick up stuff in the game).

We would also prefer if you could play "private" games rather than having to join a larger group.

They sure don't make them like that anymore. Thanks, COD. Ugh.

Unreal Tournament is still like that. Granted they have not come out with a new game in N number of years.

Beta is out now so it's coming soon. Looks awful(visually) right now but my brother is very happy with gameplay

Yea well none of the unreal series has really ever been blow your pants off cutting edge graphics. They go more for the replaybility lan party factor.

I can see that. This looks like you're playing Jedi Outcast though  definitely not marketable in the current configuration

I'm sure they will, probably working out gameplay before they polish it and add the performance requirements of good graphics and visual bugs

You have to be more specific about which models of cards you had (970,980, etc.)? I can help pinpoint potential causes (and the tech at the pc shop may have been correct depending on the model). Anyways when running SLI or xfire setups a lot of time airflow will become the issue (when I ran my 960 3gb edition in sli I had to get a watercooler block for one of the cards as the one sandwiched between the other gpu and the cpu cooler wasn't getting sufficient airflow.

Had one card running mid 40s (Celsius) while the other one was lucky to be under the 80 mark) With the Kraken+h60 cooler I ran mid 40s and mid-high 50s on those same cards respectively. just food for thought, it may have just been the way your case is designed that didn't provide sufficient airflow and a watercooler on one of the gpus may have solved your issue.

I mean do you like space games/simulations?
Do you like games where you can get lost in for several hours at a time (and that also require you play more than 10 minutes at a time as 10 min isn't enough time to do anything)?
Do you like games where it's basically just yourself alone, isolated?

If your answer is yes to all of these than it would seem the perfect game for you. (BTw I'll probably get it eventually but not off the bat as I can't afford to spend the time on it atm)

The division became highly repetitive and grindy very quickly for me.

Love space games and I wouldn't be surprised if I play this game ripped most of the time. Seems like one of those games.
