They replaced my steering wheel, and hosed up the clock spring in the process. At least they think the clock spring is the problem! We will see.

So frustrated with my dealer! Had an appointment today for them to replace the clockspring. They called me an hour later to tell me they needed to order another part.
They seem to be complete idiots about clocksprings! This will be the third time I've had to go back to the dealer to try and fix a problem they created! |

My abs and traction control light just came on too. It started about a week ago. When it first started , I pulled over and restarted the car and that was fine. Then it started to get more and more frequent. Till now it will come on every time I start my car. Also, brake light doesn't work so it's really dangerous to drive.
I have jdm toms and nsidius 3rd brake light mod installed over a year ago and everything worked till now. Checked tailight fuse and everything is fine. It must be the brake switch. I'll report back if it is. |

Did not change anything for over a year. Everything just came all of a sudden. Going to switch my taillight a back to stock and pull the nsidius 4th brake light just in case they blame it on that

I had a similar issue where my Traction control and ABS lights would come on randomly. The car would even cut my throttle every so often. When the dash lights were on, I noticed that all my brake lights (except my 4th) were on as if I was pressing the pedal, so I assumed the problem was the brake actuator switch thingy. I have Valenti Tail Lights and the Phasetek 4th kit (tapped into the brake wires), which i was going to disconnect/switch to stock before i took it in to service but i noticed that as I jiggled Phasetek 4th brake light taps, the brake lights function properly and the Traction Control and ABS lights went away. I guess the taps included with the kit are kind of loose and shitty which was causing my issues.
The dash lights had popped up randomly weeks/months after I had made any changes so I never assumed it was the 4th brake light. It would also go away randomly after I restarted the car, up until this week when it was just permanently on no matter how many times I restarted the car. I tightened up the taps and ran the ground wire from the lights to the grounding bolt in the trunk as someone else in a different post had mentioned and so far the issue has gone away. |

Well, I'm getting the ABS & TCS lights now. It first happened about a month ago ND went away when I restarted the car. I happened again a couple of weeks later, and is now coming on almost every time I drove the car.
I was dropping off my car to have the clutch replaced this morning. The lights came on as soon as I backed don't of the driveway, so I was able to have the mechanic diagnose he car without shutting it off. It came up as a faulty stoplamp switch. I haven't had a chance to mess with the switch but will soon. Last edited by kmbkk; 04-27-2016 at 10:57 AM. |

One other thing I failed to mention was my left turn signal indicator illuminated steady as well.
They all came on again this morning. However, I was able to get the turn signal indicator to go out by mashing on the brake pedal a few times quickly. |

for me it was abs sensor connection got loose on the front passenger side under a fuse box, had to put a zip tie over it because it would not stay in on its own. problem fixed for me, but took a while to find it!

Are you talking about the fuse box under the hood? I changed the stoplamp switch with no luck, so I'll continue looking at other possibilities. |

i just had mine fixed it turned out to be an adjustment with the brake pedal sensor or switch. there is a tsb on this issue according to what they wrote in the notes on the repair bill.
