The reality is that firing people is a pain in the ass so is not done lightly. There are just some dumbass people out there that will not take responsibility for there actions. I am directly involved in fireing people all the time and 9 out of 10 try to twist things so that it is our fault they screwed up.

Now I don't dislike like you or anything but based purely on what you have said on this forum over the years I suspect you had better get used to being fired.
Well, Tcoat that was very kind of you to say. Lmao but anyways dude every job I have had have called me the master, or either the boss could relate to our Valentine's day being single. People get used to me, and then they try to attract me as I am leaving. But the only problem I have is honestly the inability to fire people myself or actually the ability to not be bossed around. My mind is very intellectual, and it is as a computer being effected by pop-ups.

Piff that's just a hot grill. Try working at KFC. They way we use the deep frier is like this: the deep frier basket we put the chicken looked like a old timey bird cage with 6 racks inside. Filled with about 30-40 lbs worth of chicken you have to slowly drop it in to the deep frier that looks like a top loading washing machine.

We have a pole/hook tool we use so you have to out streach your arms while holding 30-40lbs on grease coverd floor and at the same time try not so splatter hot grease while your dropping it in.

Well this was how it was back some 16 or so years not sure how it's now. Then again I never got badly burned just the occasional grease splatter to the arm. As one would expect from using any frier. My co worker that trained me did a good job and I made sure to work safely.

I did screw up a few times but it was better than getting burned. One of the baskets got stuck in the frier a few times so I had to turn it off and wait for it too cool so I can pry it loose.

That's how a lot of people got hurt at kfc. When they pull on the basket to get it unstuck it comes up with all that hot grease along with it.

So yeah, burning your hand on a grill seems like it's far more dangerous.
Besides its not like you ever worked there, so what do you know? Just what you read about a few unlucky people had a work related accidents? Guess what? all restaurants pay money for work related accidents, not just fast food places.
Tldr; so I skimmed through it.
Are savages essentially those people who will do something stupid but blame the stupid and think being stupid is normal? Okay no offence, but I would not want to pay for any damages that occurred to me at work.

Fired? No. I've been told my job was moving from FL to CT, and to find a new job, or move with it...I found a new job. Also found out the race team I was working for would be shutting down at the end of the season. I found a new job, before actually being let go, and was given an early out, so I still got my severance.

Never fired though.

Nope.. just a teenager, that acted like a teenager and got canned for it. I was a dishwasher and I didn't like washing dishes.

The twist, is that I used this line on an employee I had to let go later in life.

That's why it's weird. Why did they get rid of everybody? What about Methyl chloride or there was something else I thought was in that brand of tint. I want to say ethylene something.

I was 20 at the time this happened so I didn't really pursue it since I already had something else going. At the time almost 20 years later, I can't make any sense of it all since it all went down so weird. I still kind of think something was found out and they just wanted it to all go away, which it did.

I was fired once, it still bothers me and I have done quite a bit to burn my bridges at said company. It was my first job in my carrear after finishing my schooling. I had worked there for around 6-7 months prior.

I came into work on a Monday to a new boss. The dealership had fired my old boss and his boss the Friday before. I was fired that morning after a 2 hour traffic-filled commute to work. The reasoning they game me was that I didn't sweep the floors correctly... basicly something that wasn't even in my job requirements. I prep and paint cars. The dealership itself had a janitorial staff and the bodyshop also had a night-crew that came in twice a week to clean up floors and the paintbooth.

I came into work and just finished putting some stripper on the roof of a crown vic police car. The roof was peeling so we were going to strip it to the mouldings and repaint it, basic warranty work. I finished applying the stripper and was called up where they had fired me and had me sign a document saying I understood why I was fired. I was pretty livid. After the arguement, I was told to lock up my tool box and that I could return after customer hours (8-5pm) to retreive my tools and equipment. I was escorted by my boss to my tool box to lock it and then punched out. And was told to go home. Keep in mind this was a 1.5+ hour commute for me. So showing up and then turning around was in itself a kick to the groin. (Back in 2008ish when gas was nearly $5.00 a gallon.)

I did so came back got my tools and then moved on. That friday I went in to pick up my final paycheck. I was told I would not be getting it and that I owed the dealership an additional $400.00 ontop of my paycheck they took ($700+) They claimed I ruined the car I was to strip before being fired. I had put aircraft stripper on the roof as instructed... nobody thought to keep an eye on it all day and it eventually ran down the doors and quarterpanels after I was let-go. This became a huge headache and only stopped after my father threatened with a laywer.

Around 2 years ago I happened to run into an old co-worker from there, we caught up and I finally got to explain what had happened and even got to hear that a few of the guys stood up for me. Anyways the real reason for my termination was so my new bosses son could take my job... which he and my new boss lasted a little under a month before being shit canned. I happened to run into the asswhole not to long ago. He's an errand boy for an insurance company that take pictures of damages found after cars have been torndown in the shop. He my have found his car with the valve cores all removed.

Well, Impureclient, to help set your mind at ease, methyl chloride has not been found to be a carcinogen.

"EPA has classified methyl chloride as a Group D carcinogen (not classifiable as to human carcinogenicity)."

As far as ethylene:

"ethylene is classified by IARC as a Group 3 carcinogen"

(that sounds bad ...... but it is right down there with water)

I would venture to say that most of the fruit that you eat, has been treated with ethylene gas as a ripening agent.

Besides 40 some % of the coolant in your car is an ethylene compound.

Class over.

So are you saying I wouldn't be a good male stripper?

As we discussed before, there should be a market out there for short Asian males....
