Wow lots of responses. Sorry dont check this too often.

I just took the battery out. Its in a secure car park with 24 hour security its just for my peace of mind as I wont be seeing it every day, unless I need to go down there.

I lost it riding my motorbike to work with a bit of alcohol in my system from the night before. 10 points and I had already lost 6 so decided to do the 4 months as PT is great in Melbourne and I never touch on so it's saving a bit in fuel ha (not that the bike uses much). Rather than the option to keep my licence but not get a fine for a year. Pretty unrealistic, plus I'm already half way there

Strange, my car has no issue breaking traction with RE71R's. What sort of supercar tires are you running?

Hire a damned tech writer already.

Hire a damned tech writer already.

Or, at the very least, hire a consultant who can teach your team advanced copy/paste techniques, so they won't have to type the same email over and over

Oh, they usually keep typing it until I make it a canned response or a knowledge base article for them.

One of the minions is a little slow :P

Well the battery out was easy. but I must say as a victim of a drunk driver and 2 years rehab because of it I have to say I have no sympathy for you and riding with "bit of alcohol in my system". Please get some help before you end up taking someones life and you lose more than your license.

And if someone really wanted to steal it, a "battery in" would be just as easy.

Before you get preachy please keep in mind that drinking laws are more harsh in Australia where the OP lives and very well may have been under the legal limit where you live. FYI it looks like the legal limit is .05 whereas where I live it is .08. Without knowing what the OP blew I'm going to assume he may have been legal to drive where I live. I'm not trying to diminish your experience at all, but I think we should try and keep this on topic and leave the pitchforks in the closet.

It's not preachy if it's the truth. He was drunk enough to lose his license. Making excuses for his behaviour is diminishing what I went through. Also he brought up he was drunk so the topic is his to make. Don't diminish what he did. I have seen student's die because of being killed by drunk drivers. I have a right to have no tolerance. This is the last comment on this from me.

Also pro tip to totally prevent it from starting, pull the pcv tube on the back of the manifold, easy to pull and easy to reconnect and completely blocks the car from starting or idling

Ironically since the BRZ actually has an alarm system pulling the battery as a security measure is counter productive.
