Look at steve's post about halfway down this page it explains KC Learned better at least for me than in the OP
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...01#post1842501
If your IAM is staying at 1 your ECU is not pulling any timing due to either no knock or a very insignificant amount of knock.
While +/-3 is pretty good for LTFT keep an eye on this to see if it starts creeping up. Your LTFTs should reset a bit after a flash and as they average more and more data you may see them get back up to the +/-7s you were having before or it could just be 91 still in the tank or a different E%
Yeah I've been keeping a close eye on the LTFT's every time I drive the car. The KC Learned is what sparked my interest because it was something other than 0.0.

KC learned always varies its the amount of knock correction timing available to the ecu at any given load/rpm point, its the value in the Knock Correction Max A table multiplied by IAM then add FLKC (which is usually negative).

The only time KC learned would be always zero is if your IAM was 0 , which would not be good :-)

Thanks, I was getting ready for detonation in my future honestly it's great to have someone on this forum that helps out as much as you do

Just fueled up at a new e85 station and now im seeing my ltft at idle between +9% to +13% and when im about 5% throttle its around +3% and with 10% to full throttle its staying at 0.00%. I guess this new station has higher ethanol content than that last station but the idle at +13% for ltft kinda scares me. Should i only be worried if i see any higher while on throttle? Or is +13% really high for idle?

don't worry too much about ltft at idle and low rpm, its beat if its below 10% but at idle low rpm its not rearly going to hurt anything. It will vary a bit with ethanol content and also big intake temp changes you get in traffic.

LTFT is the amount of correction applied to get the required AFR.

look at your commanded AFR vs measured AFR (AFR)

cruising around 14
mild acceleration 13
hard acceleration 12 to high 11

Thanks for these guides @steve99 and dealing with people who can't read, now that a new e85 station has opened up only 10 minutes away I will surely be running e85 daily throughout the summer

Run through 2 tankfuls of e85 so far and the difference is astounding, can't imagine this car once I get 4.88 gears.

You ran through two tank fills in a day?? Holy cow, I was thinking of running e85 but not if it burns up that fast.

My question to you is, if it's really worth it? On a side note did you try a regular 91 stage 2 tune? If so hows the difference

on E85 you will get about 25% worse fuel economy than petrol for same driving style

From 91 to E85 no ther changes (just tune)you will pick up about 15 hp throughout most of the rpm range noticeably more torque and smoother

Are you kidding? Did you not read anyone elses stuff?

Of course it's worth it, with my uels and nameless axleback I have to be getting around 180-200 whp. It feels totally different and the car is alive now in most of the rpm range

Yeah I like to listen to everyone's feedback. I've been meaning to give it a try but just haven't gotten around to it... the closest e85 station to me is about 26 miles away so about 30 mins or less from where I stay.

26 miles away is kind of tough, you'll need to refill at about a quarter of a tank to make sure you can make it there
