I think I read somewhere that baysonr has some issues with their lips where it has lines/rashes on it. They said it's how it's supposed to look since it's molded that way and you're supposed to sand and paint it.
Your friendly neighborhood body shop should have the answers or maybe someone on the forum that has experience with painting. Please enlighten us

Yes even oem plastic parts will have scuffs and defects but after sanding and painting it won't be noticeable. If you want the matte black fog lights accents the best way would be to paint the entire lip same color as the body. Once it's dry you will use some 3m extra fine tape to tape around fog lights and mask off entire bumper and spray it matte black. The trick is to remove the tape before the paint has a chance to flash off that way you don't get a rough line. I've had good luck with Krylon Fusion matte black but I'm sure their's better stuff out there.

I'm liking the release series front lip but hate the rear bumper. Too much color on that bumper imo and I like the black.

Buddy of mine has this. Said it took a bunch of bondo to fix the gaps/imperfections that it came with. Then he taped it up and rattlecanned it. went to install it, bitch wouldn't fit without heat. So he heated it up and sunk some screws. Still isn't prefect, but he was otd for like $200.
