Looks more like the RS 1.0 front lip that is over $1000 from the dealer

@MisterSheep Now you can have a release series 1.0 style front xD

I may get this....

I considered getting the Bayson R STI style lip kit since the whole thing can be had for about the price of the authentic STI front lip but decided against it when I read a lot of people complaining that the fit was poor.

I have tr side side skirts and rear spats before and fitment was pretty good but don't use their hardware, it rusted within a couple months in SoCal where rain is almost non existent

Replica is replica.
don't expect high quality
I installed front lip and it does leave like 0.5 - 1 inch gap on one side depends on where you started. some people had good fitment but others not.

my opinion is their lip kits is the best replica lips i ever had. all my previous cars and other cars i helped installing replica lips, they all had really bad fitment and poor quality

if you're seeking for perfect lip kit then authentic is only way.

Hmmm..it's only $169. I might bite the bullet and grab this. #prayfordecentfitment.

Anyone have this on their car?

I bought their CS style front lip for my old '13 WRX, and the fitment was perfect. I'm buying a complete lip set from them for my BRZ soon.

As said above, Bayson R is one of the best rep companies around. Still not as good as authentic, but they do their homework. I have the STi rep lip on now, and it fits good and looks good, just not PERFECT.

I'd get it but I wouldn't know how to paint it. Specifically the black extension for the fog covers. Matte black or gloss? Taping it off?

leave it matte for those extensions(depending on quality of the Replica) like a RS 1.0

How would you do that though? Painters tape? Usually with any masking while painting I see the rough edges. Happens when I see people painting their homes/walls too.

I think I read somewhere that baysonr has some issues with their lips where it has lines/rashes on it. They said it's how it's supposed to look since it's molded that way and you're supposed to sand and paint it.
