Exhaust sound problem!!

Hey so i had an issue with my exhaust system being too loud. Evo 3. Nameless downpipe with oft headers. so yesterday i decided to install the silenecers back on the evo 3 .... No more drone good idle and idle rev but if i give it a bit of gas at 3k 4k it sounds like a honda fartcan now :/. I dont know what to do anymore.... Any help would be great.

I second @Chrisgalactic, you need a different catback, the greddy evo is quite loud with UELs

Thing is when it was loud it sounded nice just too loud .... But with the silencere it got raspy farty at hard accel. Could it be the choke of the silencer causing this?

Take out the silencers (which are probably rattling) and have a resonator welded in.

You need a quieter catback. The evo 3 doesnt even have a muffler on it just two resonators before the tips. You should get a catback with a true muffler on it like perrin, ft86speedfactory, magna flow etc.
