I suggest people to check this out: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...12#post2310412
Hopefully I can use the pressure sensor relocating kit from fastwrx (no I do not by any means have anything to to with them) http://www.fastwrx.com/products/remo...re-sending-kit And cross my fingers for that the mishimoto housing's place for sensors are big enough for the innovate temp sensor

Quick question. I ordered a innovate MTX pressure/temp gauge today. I am trying to get the required accessories ordered asap so I can instal when I get it.
For temp I have: http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...hreaded-center And http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...ey-plug-gasket For the pressure I wouldn't mind replacing the oem pressure or doing a T fitting. What parts/adapters would be needed for either one of those? Are the two parts listed for the temp the correct ones?

DIY Request: install Oil Pressure & Temperature gauge
That is the wrong (NPT) galley plug for the innovate sender. You need the silver (PT) adapter.
Link: http://www.rallysportdirect.com/shop...il-galley-plug See my post #8 for the autometer adapter for the pressure sender (p/n 2269). I would not recommend using a t adapter as it may break over time and create an oil leak. The gauge can be programmed to indicate low pressure. Last edited by dustmann; 01-05-2016 at 11:04 PM. |

Sorry for the confusion @FR-Shred I have corrected the part number. You need the 2269 1/8 bsp to npt adapter for the pressure sender

I'm pretty sure I used a fuse tap on the seat heater for power and fog lights for illumination on my car. The fuse box lid will have a diagram for where these are located. There is also a convenient ground near the fuse box.

Also I believe the STOP fuse is a hot fuse (I.e 12v constant).

• 12v constant: There is one blank fuse slot which is constant 12v. You can use fuse tap there. Refer here http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?p=1005795
• 12v ignition: siga jack in the glove box or stereo fuse slot. • Ground: choose whatever you can pick from bunch of ground points. • Dimmer: tap the purple wire from harness of factory dimmer switch |

For pressure only, you could also buy a T adapter disconnect factory sensor(green wire) and replace with the T adapter and both sensors plugged (can't also do temp here as it is not in the flow). |
