Glock 19, all day every day. I have mixed feelings on the Exeter Sigs.

I can't help feeling that the Sig 320 was designed around a pricepoint, and everything else was ancillary. My rationale is pretty straightforward - if you want a striker-fired gun, get *the* striker-fired brand and don't overthink it (yes, you can be pedantic and bring up the early HKs, but you know what I mean).

Sure, there's also the VP9 in that same price point, but I'd actually prefer the VP9 with less "features"; namely, I hate the striker indicator. I have the same problem with XDs. I've got a decent number of handguns, and I prefer to use the same manual of arms across them - press checks are the way to go, if you want to be 100% positive that you're ready to roll.

Anyways, Sig 320s are an entirely different animal from the 220/226 family of guns. If you've got feelings of goodwill because of ze German stuff, there's not a whole lot in common between the 320 and the 226, asides from the branding on the side. It just hasn't been around long enough, and doesn't do anything differently enough for me to be super enthused about it. It's not more ergonomic than an M&P or a PPQ; it's doesn't have a better trigger than a PPQ; it doesn't have the service history of the Glock 19; it doesn't have the wealth of aftermarket support like the Glock 19.

I mean, if you're getting guns just to get guns, it doesn't really matter. Get what you like. If it's your only gun and it has to do a bit of everything? I'd get a Glock 19. It's proven. I've got something around 10K rounds down range with my Glocks, and I've never had a problem.

Glock 19. Not only is it my duty weapon it's also my personal firearm also. It's simple, it's reliable, it's easy to maintain and it works. It's a tried and true firearm. You can't go wrong with it.

I really enjoy the FN 5-7. Great recoil management and a lot of fun to shoot. Ammo is pretty expensive though.

The gun itself is expensive. I looked into this one... not buying something FN makes, same with HK. I'm sure it's amazing but my sig gives me 99% performance at a fraction of the cost

Yeah, fun guns. PS90s are great, too. Excellent SBR candidates.

Even just as carbines. They look goofy but they are still the shortest pistol caliber carbine I've found by 3 inches. I'm looking to get a Beretta CX4 when they become available again

Yeah, I got out of pistol carbines a few years ago (I prayed at the altar of HK and ended up being very poor because of it), but with the 41F stuff coming down I'm on the hunt for a CZ Scorpion to SBR.

The CX4 Carbines are fun guns. 92 mags or PX4? I actually love 92s a lot. I just never recommend them to people because they're so large. My 92 compact is the same size as my Glock 17. It makes no sense.

Iowa is not friendly for SBR. It's the same license for full auto and silencers(???!!!) So nearly impossible to get. I was going to get px4 mags and then get a px4too but the 92s come in 30 rounds sticks and px4 didn't so I'll probably get the 92kit. I don't want to replace my sig so buying another handgun is kinda pointless. I like guns but I don't buy them to buy them. They serve a purpose and beyond that I don't care much. The p90 is better than the cx4 but for double the cost it's just not worth it
