I spoke to PAR and they said the fitment issue has been fixed. I've heard both sides of the story when it came to installing these gears into the AZ6 from both the owner of the car and PAR themselves. I won't post this publicly because honestly it'll just cause drama. But just know, at the end of the day, the owner loves them and they've been banged on and they are still holding up great. And that's what the owner told me. I'm still moving forward with getting these gears. We have 4 people who are committed and ready to put down a deposit. If we can get one more, we can bump the discount up to 20%... for $4kUSD for a full set of gears, I'd say that's a pretty good deal!

I didn't mean anything bad, everything new will need tweaking. $4k isn't horrible at all for what you get, i just dont think it will be enough for our new setup and with no warranty or tested rating i cant risk it anymore. if i stayed around 600whp i think we would have went ahead with the par set

They have a 12 month warranty on them. How much power are you looking to push?

This is copied and pasted directly from Haysam's email

"All our gears come with a 12 month warranty covering gear failure/breakage and quality/workmanship."

I could see it holding up to your target goals. From the one person in the states who has it, he said they've been banging through them with no issues, with the oem synchros.. but of course you'd be making more power, he's only pushing 650whp and has about 3,000 miles on the gears.

with a warranty to play around with i wouldn't have had an issue trying them, the waiting game killed me though. its been well over a year for me. i need this thing done and not shredding oem transmissions every week this season lol. its good to see a few options finally coming to light/being tested. it will help a lot of people from here on out

Well if you're interested, let me know.. I have a group buy going for 20% off... they did say it would be a 3-4 month lead time. So latest is mid May 2016.

My main concern with this gear set is if there will be parts available for repairs for synchros that go out or bearings.

EDIT: nevermind I see that they use the stock synchros. And with a warranty I guess you can count me in, let me know how much the deposit is.

Jack's Transmissions, the shop we worked with to literally get this gearset up and running is now the official US supplier of this gearset. It was a serious process to get everything up and running with PAR, but now they're ready to rock. Shoot me a PM for Jack's contact info, they'll get you taken care of. If you know anything about them, they stand behind everything they do, can't recommend them enough.

The group buy ended back in March. They needed confirmation by end of the first wk of march. They should be shipping this month to us.

I know there have been a few others who were interested in buying the set. I believe Jacks Transmission might be their US distributor. You might want to give them a call.

Thanks. I was after more reviews but that's good information too, lol. None from the group buy had received the gears yet then?
