Read the fine print on ANY car makers' site; dealers are free to set their own price and charge additional fees. Now thankfully competition between dealers tend to keep everyone in check, but there are always the outliers, and people should try to not give their business to these guys if at all possible!

Don't forget what MSRP stands for(though everybody seems to); Manufacturer SUGGESTED Retail Price!

My subaru dealer (not oakville) told me that the "admin fees" are non-negotiable, even after pointing out that a couple of the local GTA dealers (i.e. mississauga and richmond hill) are waiving it out. To sum it up, I decided to walk out on a "potential" early delivery.

Good for you. I personally would rather wait than encourage these a**holes with their idiotic admin fees. Those kind of dealers don't appear to care about long time customer loyalty, so they don't deserve your business.

Thanks man... the sales manager message was practically to suck it up because he can give me the car that I wanted which the other dealer does not have.

Wow! With an attitude like that I'd tell him that it'll will be worth the wait just to not buy the car from him. Plus I'd tell him I'm going to make sure to let everyone I know even considering a Subaru, to avoid his dealership at all costs.

They are out there, I've dealt with them.
I ended up telling them to shove it and to give me back by refund. I went into another dealership last night and ordered my BRZ. Ontop of not taking off the Globali fee, they gave me little to no customer service, no communication. I also went into the dealership 3 times to work out terms/pricing and could not get any paperwork done. Tried to speak to the manager there and he wouldn't step out of his office to see me.

I walked into Scarboro Subaru yesterday and dropped a deposit down, they were extremely friendly and accommodating. Told them what I wanted and didn't want, they put this down on the contract and promised me the car by end of August (Which is reasonable since I requested one yesterday). They took off the Globali fee and offered discounted parts.

I also just walked out of a potential early delivery because my dealership wouldn't take off the Globali fee. Also because their business ethics and customer service lacked. I feel so much better purchasing my BRZ at a dealership that actually cares about their customers even though I have to wait until August..

A few weeks ago my local Subaru dealer tried to sell me his last BRZ option for $35k. He insisted that it was special 3rd model pkg.
I went over the the local Toyota-Scion dealer and ordered an FR-S.
