Interesting, my Rogue and CX-5 both have aluminum hoods and don't have that issue.

Our CX-5 has massive hood shake, even after adjusting the snubbers. Just saying, but it is third only to the BRZ and corvette.

There was a TSB I believe for cars before 2016 to stop the hood shake. The 2016 does not have it and it's my highway cruiser, the FR-S is the only car I own that the hood moves a bit at high speeds.

I can get the car up to around 130-135 on the bank at ACS.

Well, I would say I have "Mad driving skills" and I have the right tires and I'm here to tell you, you can wind that rubber band up as tight as you can and it will still get walked by a fat guy on a rascal scooter from the drop. Get over it, folks.

140. And not that I could possibly know for sure in any way but I seem to recall seeing a speed of 138 on a speedometer at some point in time. Wasn't me so I must have dreamt that somebody was driving down 20 miles of closed highway. I do recall in the dream that the car was scary as hell at that speed since my dream self thought it was going to liftoff into the dream sky. It was just a dream but the fuel cut off may have kicked in before the dream car could hit 140.
