I was thinking of trying these 250/620-17 Avons, which have a maximum width of 279 mm: http://www.avonmotorsport.com/motors...7-radial-slick

You didn't have any rubbing issues with the 295 wide Nitto tires on the 9.5" wide rims?

looks like the overall diameter and the overall section width of that avon is about 1.8" shorter diameter and about 0.6"-0.8" skinnier than the nittor tire he is running. Assuming you have done the same clearencing (i.e. rolling, pulling, cutting) the avon tire would fit!

The tires are rubbing on the inside at full lock even with ET45 offset wheels and 10mm spacers.

I've meanwhile mounted those 250/620 R17 on 9.5" wide rims (et 38) and they do rub too (at full lock).

Driveway Labs Type 3 Diffuser - The Beast

Test fitting the Driveway Labs Type 3 Diffuser. This will be for daily driving and track events as it is not legal for the SCCA Solo2 SM class.

This is really a beautiful part.

As I have the Whiteline sway bar mount braces in the rear of the car I decided to put some longer (35mm) M8x1.25 bolts in and mount the front tabs of the diffuser in front of the brace instead of behind it. This will allow for easier removal for Solo2 competition days.

I've also trimmed my rear bumper, so I'm in the process of ordering some splitter rods that I will use to support the center of the diffuser.

Here's video from one of the sessions in the middle of the day at yesterday's 2016 Super Street Continental 86 Showdown. This was my first time driving Streets of Willow. At this point I was feeling comfortable with the car and course and letting it hang out a bit more.

Why'd you go NA for the 86 shootout? And how are you liking those SPL control arms so far?
