I don't track the car, just daily about 20 miles / 45 minutes each way, not too long in stop and go. I decided against more power because I want to not worry about it. If I up the boost I'm going to want to build the motor to make it extra reliable and then I'm getting into new clutch, full exhaust, and on and on replacing every part I think might be a weak point with higher power levels. At that point it's smarter for me to sell the car and go get a used m3.

The cat issue is interesting, as I wouldn't expect the addition of a Supercharger to spike the egt enough to burn out the cats. Dan is dyno tuning mine after the install, so maybe some of the canned tunes are running on the rich side to be safe and fouling the cats in the process.

You don't need to do any motor building with the 210, even at the most boost it can push.

I'm running the smallest pulley available for the 210, which is 69mm. It overspins the blower at 6900rpm, and created 12psi. It only makes 260whp. Clutch begins to let out 3-350whp, and I currently have a buddy pushing 441whp on stock internals..

The 210 is notorious for heat soak, especially since it sounds like most of your driving is stop/go traffic, per say. Once it heat soaks, you're gonna have no power, which is why I'm curious you went non-intercooled. Hell, even with the intercooler version, I still get the notorious heat soak issue.

Well that's actually good to know, that if I want to play with the setup down the road I'm not going to be pushing things to their limit.

I guess I'll just see what happens with the heat soak and if I need an intercooler I'll get one.

You will want more. I promise. You will get use to it and for a couple hundred dollars more you can get more hp. Then it will happen again until you reach running the 69mm on E85. That's when the next chunk of change comes. Some make the jump while others keep going back and forth about making the jump. a larger blower or turbo hmm. Then boom a 30k car is now in corvette price range.

Never stop modding. I'm tried to cure the car modding addition by buying a Ducati Hypermotard SP last Saturday. We'll see how that goes.

This is where I am right now. I've had the 210 for about 2 months and heatsoak is definitely a killer. Next major mod is definitely gonna be an intercooler and 69mm. Can't wait to be able to afford it. AFTER the marriage

I'm aware of this game. I've capped myself at 10k between now and the end of the year, that's the most I'm willing to spend on a car that I'm going to get rid of in the fall of next year.

Can someone do me a favor? I'm not exactly sure if I have an issue, but someone who can check their system for me will be able to tell in a minute.

I had the Intercooler pump fail on me. No big deal. Swapped the pump and I'm good. My issue now is, the side that pumps the fluid into the heat exchanger in front of the radiator feels like it's pressurized and pushing fluid. The return out of the heat exchanger feels dead and limp. I'm not even sure if it's pushing fluid. Can anyone turn their car on and check their heat exchanger lines and see if they feel movement. For me, the top one on the heat exchanger is, the bottom one isn't. The bottom one is also the one that feeds into the front of the charger.[/

Well she already let me get the supercharger so fair is fair. Probably gonna get the intercooler in a few months when we have a couple weeks apart while moving. If all goes well, there won't be anything to notice
