On a naturally aspirated car? Not really.

You will get a lot of different opinions here. I got one because the bends/kinks in the OEM pipe are pretty damn bad. Bends/kinks = not optimal exhaust flow.

What I do not have, are pre-post results from the pipe. So I cant make any claims there.

Eh, not really. The biggest gains are from the header and tune.

I was running a aftermarket overpipe on my FRS, before getting the ptuning turbo set up, it was pricey and didnt really do much other than rattle real bad against my frame.

In my personal experience, I didn't see any major gains from doing any up grades to a NA engine. I was running a exhaust, overpipe, headers and a OFT, lets say I spent probably more than I should have, and didnt see much from it. In the end I sold all of that stuff and went FI, I wish I had saved myself time and money and just went FI from the start. Like I said that was my personal experience, others may be different.

I went from 160/128 stock to 204/160 NA on 93. I think it was worth it.

That's also because you had a really good dyno tune

I went from stock to 322rwhp with the turbo kit Im just saying I think there are a lot of people who wont go get a custom tune, they will stick with a OFT and a off the shelf map. For those folks I dont think all the money is worth the numbers you gain from it. Like I said in my original post, personal experience.

Back to the point though, just weigh your options. Take your time to figure out your end game, I think knowing if you are going to go custom tune or off the shelf is a real good starting point.

Yeah, depends on goals. Mine was to snag each available HP/TRQ I could without adding boost. Think PTuning and I accomplished that very nicely.

However yeah, adding boost is a totally other story, with its own positives and negatives.
