Same with AT vs MT. Why do people care so much? I have people who tell me getting MT was stupid because AT is just as fun, AT is better in traffic, or MT is just old and deprecated.

I want a supercharger and I like my MT.
This is the basis of my argument every time the subject comes up. People want more power, body kits, BFWs, mega camber and that is cool and I support any of it if that is what they want. You said things perfectly in your other post though that want and need are not the same thing. I get frustrated when some guy says he can't keep up with stop and go traffic when I know bloody well that this is not true but will go out of my way to help some guy that wants more power just to get Instagram likes.

I know I come off sometimes as being anti power and that is just not true. There is no bad reason for wanting more for what somebody does with their car. It is just when I am told that I am wrong, foolish, naïve, etc since I am happy with it or people say blatantly wrong shit (can't keep up in city traffic, the torque dip brings it to a screeching halt, etc) that things get messy.

Oh. I think I read the weight between ls1 and fa20 isn't that big a difference, again you could just relocate battery to balance it

Not just front and rear weight to be considered there is also the vertical and laterals to consider. Just moving a battery is probably not enough if going for the exact same balance.

Close enough that v8 (cuz you swap to go faster) will easily make up the difference. Now I don't condone ls swaps but I understand that the downsides to handling will be small and upsides to power well be big

Rather get the turbo four 6th gen honestly. It is V8 in any configuration, or the turbo four to upset people. The v6 has no place in the lineup anymore since the four came out. JMO.

Make the 4 cyl ecoboost the entry level, bring in the 3.5l ecoboost for mid and the coyote for the GT.

Jaden

I'd love to swap a 3.5l ecoboost into the twins...

Actually that would be a serious consideration as well. I just have never driven on of them yet to see how it stacks up whereas I have driven the 6 and 8. Certainly would not rule it out for any reason.

Plus, with your drive, it would easily be the gas sipper of the group.

Yep!
Then I could go terrorize the Camaro forums and argue with the go 8 or go home crowd.

This thread has gone in several tangents already. It took me some reading to realize that you guys are talking about the Camaro and not the Mustang.
