Funny, I'll be putting mine on along with my HKS coils tomorrow too! Can't wait! I'll be taking lots of pics so expect to see those soon!

I have my alignment booked on the 21st and test and tune autocross and track events on the 23rd and 24th!

I got my kit with the BP10s but they won't be used for anything but a spare set of pads in a pinch. Instead, I've got a set of EBC Yellowstuff for the BBK front and stock rear which I plan to run full time. They are supposedly quiet and have good fade resistance but dust like mad. I've read really mixed reviews on them with everything from people swearing by them to catastrophic failure after a single 30 minute track session so I'll be keeping a very close eye on them and will be reviewing them after my test days.

Just adding my experience with EBC yellowstuffs.. They melted incredibly quickly. Would not bang 0/10.

Ran my first Autox today with the brakes. They REALLY worked well, I was out-stopping most everyone else not on R compounds (I'm on RE71Rs).

The squeal is down to acceptable levels now and they are bedded in for sure now. Ill report back later if I have any more issues.

Managed to record some of the minor brake noise at the end of this Autox run...

[ame]http://youtu.be/SlyJw1uJD5w[/ame]

I also had a strange vibration during under steer/plowing situations, not sure if it was brake related or suspension/tire related...

That vibration is the tires skipping across the pavement. Slow down more, lol.

Also, sounds like "normal" racey pad noise.

Well it turns out I lied. Because I have an alignment booked for this week, coilover install took priority but we ran into a number of issues getting the coils on and we didn't finish until 2am. I planned to return tomorrow (later today actually?) to install the brakes but I've got some serious alignment issues that makes the car unsafe to drive. Like it is wandering all over the road. I suspect a major toe issue. Anyways I won't be driving it anywhere until the alignment is done and the issues are straightened out but I'm hoping to install the brakes on Saturday the 23rd so it's ready for my events on the 24th.

Front Performance kit installed! Was torn between yellow and red, but went with my gut. Still need to bed the pads in properly, but I can already tell they are pushing the limits of my worn out MPSS...

BTW, I'm getting two different squeels now from the BP10's... The normal loud squeal I've had with both pads, plus a new super high pitch squeal

Confirmed that assuming no extenuating circumstances suddenly pop up, I'm going to be doing the brakes on Friday night. Here's hoping I'm not lying again

Has anyone used the "sport" front kit or just going to stage 1/2? I am looking at 4-5 or so track events a year and wondering if the sport version is plenty for my needs or if its worth going Stage 1/sport rear or sport F/R?

I am using sport front and rear, and it stops on a dime now with about nine cents change......for your occasional track use I would think they will be more than plenty, I know for canyon driving they are great!!!
