Ok

This is a trap in due to way oft tunes work.

if you have more than one definition in romraider , romraider will use the first definition starting from the top that matches the calid of the rom you open.

as oft guys alter calids to make say A01C roms look like B01C roms and also alter their defs , you need to exceeding carefull if editing multiple roms and using multiple oft defs.

You have just found this out.

its because older oft tunes may have been based on say A01C rom but now they updated to B01C rom internally but both defs will be labeled A01C in oft defs

if you want to have two roms open with same calid but different defs required due internal changes by oft guys then you need to switch the order of the defs in romraider so romraider uses the correct cdef to open each rom. This practice is dangereous and you need to be very aware and carefull with what your doing.

If tables in either rom ie the one you are copying from or the one your pasting to look weird STOP. always check both the source and target tables before you transfer data or its bricked ecu.

Thanks I was adding the quiet cold start edit and realized the numbers stock were extremely wonky and was like did I do something wrong?
So now I know in this case only use one cal id per rom specific to that rom.


Also I noticed the new definitions are missing Maf Correction After Start(in Gear) and Maf correction after start(in neutral). Would it be safe to edit the xml to add those in?

Thats not reading. That is reading the title then not reading the actual post or shivs comments, then asking a question that could've been answered yourself if you read the entire post and one of shivs comments. Doing that especially in the software tuning section is a nice way to destroy an engine.

yes all tables are in roms the defs just point romraider to the correct location

or use wayno,s defs

did anybody tried it with crawford BPB? should we make the same modification as in other tunes?

So here is some updated data logs from night cruising around. The only thing that bothers me is mixed driving datalog that show a bit of knock. Could you please look at it? Thanks

Very small and inconsistent, wouldn't worry about it.

I'm with phrosty here that's perfectly fine, it seems almost like a random fluke. Also nothing else that helps point to knock being detected didn't change one bit. Do it again and see if it appears again, I think it's a non issue.

Just drove 300+ plus miles(philly to Pittsburgh and on one tank!) with no issues at all. I'm loving the new tune.
