No prob!
Actually if you look above the plate at all the black spots you will see about2% of the damage to the front of my car. This is not due to "cheap paint" because most of the stuff that hit me were moving fast enough they have chipped a tank.

OK... maybe I just care less. For comparison, here is mine. These few scratches (again, after 10 years and one ride through bushes) don't matter to me.

I guess some people would not like them though.

Haha, this picture's URL says "marylandweather", so I guess this is exactly what I have to contend with here in Nothern Virginia. But admittedly not for 5 months.

On the other hand, as winter temperatures tend to hover around freezing, the damage to to the roads may be even more extensive than up north, and we end up with millions of potholes and loose pieces of asphalt every spring. Also, we have VDOT which has peculiar ways of addressing these. There is an interstate segment nearby, which had a lot of potholes, so they milled it a month or so ago, but haven't resurfaced yet. So every day I drive over terribly rough surface, with some potholes remaining, at 60 mph...

Ya it was the 5 months of flying salt that makes the difference.
Funny you say about the weather because I just had that conversation with the wife this evening. We had a very weird winter that was probably almost identical to your usual ones. The pot holes are way worse than normal! Even our major highways that never have potholes are horrible.

Yeah, it's the constant freezing and thawing that damages the surface.

LOL
I like my beat up cover. It has character. I will touch up the bumper (again) once the weather gets better. But it doesn't last long anyway and I just collect new ones. Those are just the little marks you should see the big ones. So far I have been hit by a flying taillight (the whole thing housing and all), a brake line, a flying lower control arm and more large stones then I can count. I have hit 2 raccoons, a skunk carcass and a duck. It is the fate of a car that spends 14 hours a week and 3,500 miles a month at high speed on a busy highway I am afraid. My car is a work horse not a garage queen or showpiece and bares the scares to prove it.

Seriously, fuck VDOT. They're second only to whatever they call it here. This is the only place I've been where a road can be 50% constructed of steel plates they use because they're too damn lazy to fill pot holes.

You have no idea. I should pull my dash cam footage when I go home from work tomorrow morning. This shit is next level.

Edit: The worst is when they don't secure them properly and they bounce when cars in front of you go over them. I thought one was going to take my front end out. They also don't flush them with the asphalt, so they just pile on a ton of asphalt on the front, which is almost like a small speed bump in the middle of the road. Then, they don't bother to do anything to the rear of them, so when you drop off of it, your car just falls back to the asphalt without a smooth transition at all.

I've had my Firestorm FR-S 2 days now and i got pulled over this morning for not using my turn signal. Absolutely zero traffic on a 4 lane road but a cop got me for not putting my blinker.
I gotta say I have no pity for folks not using signal lights. There's a reason Subaru installed them on your car.

The failure of drivers to signal has gotten ridiculous around here.
