drop in filter is part of the intake.. so it's basically the same just with different prices that'll net you the same results.

I thought I was gunna live dat stance lyfe. Made the car unenjoyable as hell having to worry about every little thing while driving. On springs now, have race car tires and wheels almost ready to go on. Then we're laughing.

What made you decide that braking nekz wasn't as important?

Edit: I intentionally wrote it all that way...

I didn't like being afraid of driving over cracks in the road because they could tear my bumper off and having the rear section of my exhaust being in constant danger of being worn through

Same here, did full exhaust+tune very quickly after buying, don't even remember stock, nor did I even really rev her out when I first got her. I did meet an frs driver and he asked if he could drive my car to experience the gain, he said he definitely felt more power, but not on the low end side, and that it was worth it. Guess I'm glad I did, since it feels very average to me, not too slow nor fast.

Leaving mine stock. After having a 700hp GTR its just pointless to try and make other things fast to me. The car is meant for corners.. If i want fun ill turn the TCS off and get some slip angle at 40mph. that'll pucker ur hole more than any turbo.

straightline = checkers
corners = chess

With seat time and reading this forum, I developed a 'wonder what that mod would feel like' attitude. Its been really enjoyable learning what subtle (and some not so subtle) mods can feel like on such a sensitive platform.

For me the FD upgrade helped with low end power and general responsiveness. Seriously considering some Crawford power blocks next. Yes I'll lose some top end, but being a DD I think the car will (to me) feel more enjoyable. Only more post mod seat time will tell though!

I totally get people that like the stock car, but have learned the joy of moding. More so than any other car prior.

Agreed 100% with your post. I'd do suspension mods and tires if anything. I'm a current FBO GT-R owner but would like to pick one of these up in addition in the future.

Why'd you ditch the GT-R, did you replace it with anything and do you miss it?
