My water to air (turbo though) runs a very watered down glycol mix simply for corrosion resistance. Water is the most efficient though

I use same engine coolant for the supercharger. No idea on temp #s, I can just tell you it's super high when pushing it. Used to have a vented hood on my FR-S, and that helped alot.

Also, Sprintex recommends 75W90 for oil change. I'm gonna be picking up some Motul 300 for the trans and diff, since it's non-LS, shouldn't this be fine for the twin screw?

Correct. I've been using the non-LS Motul 300 for 30k+ miles now in the supercharger and so have many others. I use the same in my diff as well. In my trans however I use Pentosin 75W-80 as it seems to work better in the trans.

I am in need of some help...

My car sat for a few months and when I got it back I noticed a very severe stutter during tip-in below 2500 rpm. At first I thought it might be a vacuum leak and after a thorough inspection i am 100% confident that there aren't any. I re-flashed the ECU and went through the learning cycle. Still no change..

At tip in there is a surge of power, it then falls flat on its face, and then picks right back up. you could compare it to when traction control kicks in..

When I looked at the tune.. fuel starts to come in.. fuel system status does a dance between 2 and 3.. AFR goes through the roof.. fuel system status does another dance between 2 and 3.. and then fuel comes back and AFR drops like a rock. To me it looks like it has something to do with switching between direct and port injectors.. After tip in it makes great power and everything looks normal.. its just during tip in..

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? No CEL.. Nothing seems off.. Advanced multiplier goes from 1 down to .2 if I make it a point to cause the problem while driving.. If i am nice and smooth with my throttle or I stay in higher rpm's it is fine.

Any help is appreciated! I will try to post a pic of the tune later.

Yeah i had this problem multiple times. First time it was due to the tune being slightly too aggressive, then in warmer weather it was pulling timing during tip in. My tuner modified the timing tables slightly, all good.

Second time is starting happening again, it was really bad. I had a feeling it was something to do with the cooling system, so i changed out the coolant. I did a terrible job of it and left a bit of air in the system, and noticed the it was MUCH worse than before. So, i took it to my tuner and he bled the system properly and topped it up with coolant. No more problems.

Moral of the story, ensure your cooling system is bled.

Take a look at the correlation between injection mode and AFR. It seems like when it changes to 3 AFR goes wayyy lean.. then when it comes back to 2 it goes back to where it should be.

it is almost like the ecu is asking the port injectors to come to the party at tip-in and they are nowhere to be found?? you would assume with the addition of the port injectors that fuel would be plentiful? High pressure fuel is there.. do the port injectors get supplied by the high pressure pump? Is there a low pressure fuel system? could that be the problem?

I am also not really sure why ecutek stops logging for almost a second?!?!.. trying to pull too much data over OBDII??

If the car ran fine before you parked it, but now runs badly after sitting for a couple of months, 90% likely to be your injector sticking or being clogged. The fact that your lean spot is right where port injection kicks in would confirm that. But you'd need to compare that a previous datalog under similar conditions to verify.

moto-mike.. thanks a lot for the input!!

its an OEM injector.. would taking them out and cleaning them do the trick? I assume if one was stuck supplying voltage to it would be a pretty easy way to check? Can you suggest any good ways to clean them? I haven't really been looking but its the first I have heard of people having problems with the port injectors. usually the DI.

Can anyone with a boost gauge tell me what the maximum boost pressures you've seen and at what the approx ambient was at the time.

I could quite regularly see 13 psi but since installing the extra cooling idea I'm now seeing 15 psi on a 23 deg ambient and saw 16 psi once at 16 deg ambient so looks like have gained about 2 psi and even pushing it it seems to be doing it consistently .

Any data would be helpful .

I'd hope you're not actually making 16 unless you're on ethanol. The most I've seen was 6.5 with open flash tablet.

@sam69 are you spraying to cool the temps down? If so it will help with compression a little if pre-rotor. We've seen that here. Otherwise I can't see a 2 psi increase.
