S2k w LS engine. Pretty much all the JDM FR car have/had LS engine inside before. If they put like 13B Rotary inside IS300 then I'll be surprised & give em thumbs up...

For an example GC8 w 13b engine & still AWD.

Now, this is thumbs up. Why they did this? IDK. why they kept it AWD? IDK... only thing I know is pretty cool swap!

What's this about the IS not handling well stock? And from an IS owner?

But, yeah I guess it can be a hassle. How much are you looking for the parts sale? What part of WA are you in? I'm in Vancouver, BC. Shoot me a PM if you're interested in selling.
Manual swaps are something I always find myself imagining as manuals get harder to find in anything but economy cars or sports cars. The older ones were probably easier to do but I have found one swap of a CVT in a Honda. Granted it's not exactly a Prius style CVT but the guy was able to wire in a manual gearbox by splicing the wires. One thing I remember him doing was wiring a signal so that it would always think it was in gear.

Especially with newer cars it's better to get the ECU when you go manual but it could be worked around .

Don't forget Ichitaka, the Miata and RX-8 are two more that get the LS treatment .

WTH with that grill? Obviously, it's an Impreza, but the pic confused me at the first glance. LOL
Ichi, you're right and I think LS swap is not as attractive as this rare rotary swap. Just saying tho, but I never find something from American attractive, but only attractive thing was the last generation Viper SRT10/SRT10 ACR. It's just me tho.

Also, shouldn't there be a poll so we don't have to read 4 pages to find out what everyone thinks?
thats the kind of answer i was specting 3 pages before
i know i know test drive
i agree of course.

but i think toyota has more experience that all 600members together
they know what they are doing.

any comment?

Grill? That's Ver 6 GC8 grill. It's pretty common upgrade in US.

GM's LS motors are little marvels. They are tiny, light weight, and quite fuel efficient for a high output V8.

Waiting for the test drive for sure to decide. But if there is slight chance that the dealer doesn't like me drive it, then they are going to have to reduce the MSRP by at least $1,000 just to keep me in there before I walk out.
